I have had to start yet another one and this one is huge, it's 15x47". All I have done is sketched the dog loosely is graphite pencil and then used raw umber and white to block him in. He isn't drooling it's just where I had the paint very thin and it's run. The back leg is not the right size and nor is the front leg that is nearest the front. All this will be altered as I do it. The other painting from yesterday is drying, those colours take an age to dry so I will have to wait.
