Blimey this has been such a drag, doing each bean all afternoon. It has actually been quite difficult to get the right colour for them, I have been messing about with orange, burnt umber and white. Beans are not pure orange regrettably. Also my subject has started to leak all over the place, all I can smell now is beans (kept thinking it was the painting). Goodness knows what the studio will be like when I fetch that mackerel out of the freezer to paint it. Hopefull tomorrow I will be able to add some colour to the tin, I am expecting the beans to be dry too as I mixed liqu
