Basically I have done exactly the same as I did yesterday. Another layer of burnt umber, raw umber and white added. The only thing I am finding with this one is that I have to do the whole painting, including the background, in layers. I dont normally have to do that, just leave the background till the end or do it right at the start. I think it might be because the bottom of the shells has to blend in with the background. The inside of the shell is still a bit of a mare to do, I can now see that the one in the foreground and to the right looks almost square so I will have to change that when I do more tomorrow. So see you again tomorrow in that case.
