Day 3 of The Banana

 

I think I have nearly finished the banana now, I have to leave it for a couple of days for the layers to dry off because I am using yellow.  All I am doing is adding some details to the inside of the banana and another layer of yellow to the skin.  I still have to put some detail on to the inside of the skin and, when it's all dry, will add some shadow.  I have also put another layer of paint on to the giant eggshells but I wont put that on at the moment it's sitting in the wrong position to photograph and a bit too big to shift around whilst it's wet. 

PS I have changed the yellow colour to Cadium yellow hue rather than the Naples yellow that I used before.  There is only a thin layer added each time and it's being blended with raw umber.
