I have started this new painting today after struggling with different subjects all week. This canvas has been painted on, washed off, painted on and washed off about four times. Finally got started on this one. In case you are not sure they are tomatoes in a brown paper bag. This is just the underpainting, I have used the usual raw umber and white but for the bag I used burnt umber and white.
I have also got five paintings out in two exhibitions at the moment. Three are in the Kenilworth Art Show as part of The Kenilworth Festival and two are in Solihull Art Gallery as part of the CWSA Annual Exhibition.
