I've now got rid of a lot of the fuzzy bits that were on this portrait. I need to do a lot more with the highlights but I cant touch them until they are all dry so it will have to stay like this until tomorrow now. Still only using 2 colours and they are lamp black and titanium white. I have kind of reverted back to how I used to start paintings with this one, dont do any sketching at all, straight on to the canvas with lots of blobs of white and then blend in the black. I did start with a dark backbround though so had to black out the canvas before I started it.
