I have now started this new painting, once again it's only small being just 10"x 12". It is oil on canvas and this is the underpainting. The fingers look pretty flat at the moment and I will be adding depth to those once this layer has dried. What's that in the middle of the hand you ask? Well it's a cherry, make up whatever meaning you want when there is a picture of someone holding a cherry!
