Despite having chronic toothache for the past week I have still been doing some work. I started this portrait a couple of days ago. I am still working on creating depth before I put any colour into and thats why it's monochrome, as usual really. The other paintings that I am doing are still in the drying stage so I cant touch them yet.
I have also been preparing three paintings for The Herbert Gallery in Coventry, West Midlands, tomorrow. This is for their Open so it's a competition for getting paintings into there. I would be really over-joyed if any of them got accepted but I'll have to wait and see. A nerve wracking week ahead I think.
Also I collected two paintings from my framers and they have done a wonderful job on both of them, really pleased. That's all for now, by the way, today my tooth was removed by the dentist along with £86, I was only in there for 10 minutes. I'
